URBAN TEAM
The members of Urban Team are pleased to welcome you to the Urban Team association.
Urban Team offers dance classes in Hip-Hop, Dancehall, House-Dance, Break-Dance, L.A Style, Street-Jazz, Popping/Boogaloo, Heels Dance, Lyrical Contemporary and Afrobeats for adults and kids. Urban Team also takes part in numerous artistic and cultural events in Switzerland and Europe.
The association employs several highly qualified teachers, and classes run from September to June, except during school vacations and official public holidays. Classes are held according to precise timetables, strictly respected by the teachers.
1. Registration fees
The Registration fee is CHF 20 per year.

Urban Team members who have an unlimited course subscription are entitled to one free workshop of their choice during the season.
3. Payment method

All reminders are sent by email. In the case of late payment, charges will apply:
2nd reminder CHF 20.00 is received 10 days after the due date.
In the case of non-payment, the student will no longer be accepted in class. The school reserves the right to take legal action against the debtor.
School fees for the full year must be paid in full no later than 90 days after registration.

5. Conditions
Membership is effective with :
– an online registration form and charter;
– CHF 20 registration fee
Annual fees vary according to the number of lessons taken. Lessons taken by different members of the same household are not added together in the price scale. Fees can be paid in instalments as indicated on the registration form. Special offers during the year are only valid at the normal rate.
In the case of accident, with presentation of a medical certificate for up to 30 days, lessons must be made up within the subscription season. After 30 days, a request for a deduction (for the following year) may be made in writing by registered mail.
No refunds are possible.
In all other cases, requests for cancellation must be made by registered post, stating the reasons, to the Committee, which is entirely free to accept them or not, or to propose a partial refund in the form of a credit note for other courses. Cancellation will incur a fee of CHF 100. If your resignation has been accepted by the management, the fees must be paid in full. Resignations announced to the teachers will not be considered.
Registration fees are used to cover administrative costs during the year (secretariat, supplies, stationery, stamps, telephone, etc.). They are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. They must be paid in full before the start of the course.
A fee of CHF 50.00 will be charged for any changes to your subscription.
The management reserves the right to close a course during the year if the number of students is insufficient. Students will be given the opportunity to choose another course.
6. Membership of the association implies compliance with the following rules:
– Students must bring their own regulation sneakers, to be used only in the classroom, to keep them clean.
– It’s compulsory to bring dance heels for Heels Dance classes!
We’ll check your heels to make sure they won’t damage the floor. Heels must be in perfect condition. If the nail is visible, you won’t be able to use your heels.

– Respect for other students, teachers and supervising adults.
– Respect for the environment (checkrooms, toilets and rooms must be kept clean), no food or drink.
Please notify the secretary’s office by the end of March if you wish to make up any missed classes during the year. Absences are tolerated on an exceptional basis, but no deductions will be made from subscriptions.
– Parents, relatives and other members of the public are not allowed to attend classes.
– The use of cell phones is not permitted during classes and rehearsals.
– It is forbidden for anyone to take a photo or film any student or group of students during courses without the permission of a member of the committee or the teacher.
– By becoming a member, students and/or their legal guardians authorize the association to publish on its website or any other means of public communication any group photo taken as part of the school’s activities, even if the student is identifiable.
– Teachers are the only judges of a student’s skills and the level of classes in which he or she may participate..
– Absent teachers are replaced as substitutes become available.
– At the end of the year, the school produces a show in which all students take part. The costume budget is between CHF 30 and CHF 50 per student.
– With regard to events organised in collaboration with the association, the teachers are the only judges of student participation.
– Students are no longer under the supervision or responsibility of the association outside actual lesson times in the dance studios.
– Students must be insured against any accidents that may occur.
– Anyone who has not paid their membership fees and/or who has not fulfilled their commitments to the association may be excluded..
