CHARTER 2026 / 2027
The members of Urban Team are delighted to welcome you to the Urban Team association.
Urban Team welcomes children, teens, and adults to our classes in Hip-Hop, House Dance, Break-Dance, L.A Style, K-POP, Afro Fusion, Amapiano, Heels Dance, and Afrobeat - Dancehall. Classes run from September to June, excluding school holidays and public holidays.
Urban Team also participates in numerous artistic and cultural events across Switzerland and Europe.
1. Fees and Pricing
Registration fee: CHF 20.- per season.
Annual Rates (September → June)
The rates listed below cover the period from September to June. You can join at any time: the price will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Teens/Adults Rates (1-hour classes) 1 class / week: CHF 900.- 2 classes / week: CHF 1,700.- 3 classes / week: CHF 2,400.- 4 classes / week: CHF 2,900.- 5 classes / week: CHF 3,200.- Unlimited: CHF 4,500.- BONUS: Members are entitled to one free workshop of their choice during the season. Children (1-hour classes) Monday class at 4:45 PM Wednesday class at 2:00 PM Wednesday class at 3:00 PM ➡ CHF 800.- Heels Dance (1-hour-15-minute classes) CHF 1,000.- Single Class / Trial Class CHF 30.- 10-Class Pass CHF 300.- (valid for 5 months) University Discount 5% off (excluding ongoing offers) WORKSHOPS Workshops are not subject to these terms and conditions.
2. Payment Methods
• Single payment: full payment upon registration.
• 2 installments: Over 2 consecutive months from the date of registration (e.g., September and October).
Administrative fee: CHF 10.– per invoice (total CHF 20.–).
• 3 installments: Over 3 consecutive months from the date of registration (e.g., September, October, and November).
Administrative fee: CHF 10.– per invoice (total CHF 30.–).
Payment Reminders and Conditions
1st reminder: sent by email, free of charge.
2nd reminder: sent by email with a CHF 20.- administrative fee, 10 days after the due date.
In case of non-payment:
- The student will no longer be allowed to attend classes.
- The school reserves the right to initiate legal debt collection proceedings against the debtor.
- Non-payment may lead to exclusion from classes and the end-of-year show.
Tuition fees for the full school year must be paid in full no later than 90 days after registration.

4. Membership Terms and Conditions
By registering, the student requests membership in the Urban Team association.
Membership becomes effective upon receipt of:
- An online registration form and agreement;
- The CHF 20.- registration fee.
By registering online, the student (or their legal guardian, if applicable) commits to the entire school season. Tuition is set as a flat annual rate based on 10 months of classes, running from September to the end of June. This flat rate takes into account official school holidays and public holidays when classes are not held. Consequently, these missed classes cannot be made up.
Annual membership fees vary according to the number of classes taken by the student. Class hours for members of the same household cannot be combined to qualify for a discounted rate. Fees can be paid in installments as specified on the registration form.
Special offers introduced during the year apply only to the standard rate.
In the event of relocation to another canton, the student or their legal guardian may terminate the registration effective at the end of the current month. This request must be sent by mail or email, accompanied by a certificate of residence.
In case of injury, upon presentation of a medical certificate covering up to 30 days, missed classes must be made up during the current subscription season. For periods exceeding 30 days, a request for a credit (applicable to the following year) may be submitted in writing via registered mail.
No refunds will be issued.
For any other circumstances, termination requests must be submitted with justification via registered mail to the Committee, which reserves full discretion to accept or decline the request, or to offer a partial refund in the form of a credit voucher for other classes.
Termination will incur a fee of CHF 100.-. If your withdrawal is accepted by the management, the termination fees and the full remaining balance of your subscription must be paid in full. Withdrawals notified directly to instructors will not be recognized.
Registration fees are used to cover administrative management expenses throughout the year (secretariat, supplies, stationery, postage, phone, etc.). They are non-refundable in the event of termination and must be paid in full before classes begin.
In case of multiple modifications to your subscription, a fee of CHF 50.- will be charged starting from the second modification.
The management reserves the right to cancel a class during the year if attendance is insufficient. Affected students will have the opportunity to choose an alternative class.
5. Rules & Code of Conduct
- Clean sneakers are mandatory for all classes and must be worn only inside the studio to ensure the floors remain clean.

It is mandatory to bring compliant heels for the Heels Dance class.
We will inspect your heels to ensure they do not damage the floor.
Heels must be compliant and in perfect condition.
If the heel tip/nail is exposed, you will not be allowed to wear them.

- Respect for instructors, students, and the premises is required. (Changing rooms, restrooms, and studios must remain clean.) No food or drinks allowed inside the studios.
- In case of absence, the student or their parents must notify the administration.
- Missed classes: make-up classes are available until the end of February. The absence must be reported to the administration prior to the class. Absences are tolerated on an exceptional basis only, and no deductions will be made from subscription fees.
- The presence of parents, family members, or any general public is not permitted during classes.
- The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during classes and rehearsals.
- It is forbidden for anyone to photograph or film any student or group of students during classes without the prior authorization of a committee member or the instructor.
- By joining, the student and/or their legal guardian authorizes the association to publish on its website or any other public communication channel any group photos or videos taken during school activities, even if the student is identifiable.
- Instructors are the sole judges of a student's skills and the class level they are eligible to join.
- Absent instructors will be replaced based on the availability of substitute teachers.
- At the end of the year, the school produces a show in which all students participate. The costume budget will be at the student's expense, ranging between CHF 30.- and CHF 50.-.
- Regarding events or performances organized in collaboration with the association, instructors are the sole judges of student participation.
- Outside of official class hours within the dance studios, students are no longer under the supervision or responsibility of the association.
- Students must have personal insurance coverage for any potential accidents that may occur.
- An exclusion procedure is in place for any individual who has not paid their fees and/or has failed to respect their commitments to the association.
