The members of Urban Team are pleased to welcome you to the Urban Team association and wish you a warm welcome.

Urban Team offers classes in Hip-Hop, House-Dance, Break-Dance, L.A Style, Popping/Boogaloo, Heels Dance, and Afrobeat - Dancehall for both adults and children. Urban Team also takes part in numerous artistic and cultural events in Switzerland and across Europe.

The association employs several highly qualified teachers. Classes are held from September to June, except during official school holidays and public holidays, and are conducted according to a strict schedule respected by all instructors.

1. Registration Fee

The annual registration fee is CHF 20.-.

2. Tuition Fees for the School Year

The indicated fees cover the period from September to June. Your registration will be valid from your chosen start date. The fee will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Teen/Adult Rates (1-hour classes)
1 class per week: CHF   900.-   
2 classes per week: CHF 1700.-  
3 classes per week: CHF 2400.-  
4 classes per week: CHF 2900.-  
5 classes per week: CHF 3200.-  
Unlimited classes: CHF 4500.-  

Children’s Rate (1-hour classes)
Classes on Monday at 4:45 p.m. and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. ➡️ CHF 750.– for the school year 

Heels Dance Rate (1h15 classes)
Classes on Monday at 7:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. ➡️ CHF 1000.– for the school year

3. Payment Methods

• One-time payment: Full payment is due at the time of registration, in a single installment.

• Two installments: Payment can be divided over 2 consecutive months from the date of registration (e.g. September and October).
– The 1st payment, along with the registration fee, is due in the first month.
– The 2nd payment must be made in the second month after registration.

• Three installments: Payment can be divided over 3 consecutive months from the registration date, with one payment each month (e.g. September, October, November).

Reminders and payment terms
Reminders are sent by email. In the event of late payment, additional fees will apply:
1st reminder: a warning email is sent before the due date, free of charge.
2nd reminder: administrative fees of CHF 20.– are added, 10 days after the due date. .

•In case of non-payment:
⦁ The student will no longer be allowed to attend classes.
⦁ The school reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against the debtor.
⦁ Non-payment may result in exclusion from classes and performances.

The full tuition for the academic year must be paid in full no later than 90 days after registration.

5. Terms and Conditions

By registering, the student applies for membership in the Urban Team association.
Membership becomes effective upon:
- completion of the online registration form and charter;
- payment of the CHF 20.- registration fee.

When registering online, the student (or legal representative, if applicable) commits to the entire school year. Tuition fees are based on a fixed annual rate for 10 months of classes, from September to June. This fee takes into account official school holidays and public holidays when classes do not take place; therefore, these classes are not rescheduled.

Annual membership fees vary depending on the number of classes taken by the student. The class hours of different family members are not cumulative in the pricing chart. Payments may be made in several installments as indicated on the registration form. Special offers throughout the year apply only to the standard rate. In case of relocation to another canton, the student or legal representative may cancel the registration by submitting a residence certificate, effective at the end of the current month, by mail or email. In case of an accident and upon presentation of a medical certificate within 30 days, the missed classes can be made up during the same season. After 30 days, a request for a deduction (applied to the following year) can be submitted in writing by registered mail. No refunds are possible. For any other case, cancellation requests must be submitted and justified by registered mail to the Committee, which reserves the right to accept or deny them, or to offer a partial refund in the form of a credit for other classes. A cancellation fee of CHF 100.- applies. If your withdrawal is accepted by the management, all fees and remaining tuition must still be paid in full. Withdrawals communicated to teachers are not considered valid. Registration fees cover ongoing administrative expenses (secretarial work, supplies, stationery, postage, phone, etc.) and are non-refundable in case of cancellation. They must be paid before the start of classes. In the event of subscription changes, a fee of CHF 50.- will apply starting from the second modification. The management reserves the right to close a class during the year if the minimum number of students is not met. Students will have the option to choose another class.

6. Membership Rules

• Students must wear appropriate indoor sneakers reserved exclusively for dance use to keep the floors clean.
• It is mandatory to bring dance heels for Heels Dance classes! We will check your heels to ensure they do not damage the floor. Heels must be in perfect condition. If the nail is visible, you will not be allowed to use them. You can purchase suitable heels from:

• Respect towards other students, teachers, and staff members is mandatory.
• Respect for facilities (changing rooms, toilets, and studios must remain clean) – no food or drinks allowed.
• For absences of minor students, parents must inform the office. Students may make up missed classes during the school year if the absence is reported before the end of February. Absences are tolerated occasionally, but no tuition reductions will be made.
• Parents, family members, or the public are not allowed to attend classes.
• Mobile phone use is not permitted during classes or rehearsals.
• No one may photograph or film any student or group of students during classes without authorization from a committee member or teacher.
• By joining the association, the student and/or legal guardian authorize Urban Team to publish on its website or any public medium any group photo/video taken during school activities, even if the student is identifiable.
• Teachers are solely responsible for assessing students’ skills and determining the appropriate class level.
• Absent teachers will be replaced when possible.
• At the end of the year, the school organizes a performance in which all students participate. The costume cost is borne by the student (CHF 30.- to CHF 50.-).
• For events organized in collaboration with the association, teachers decide which students may participate.
• Outside of official class hours, students are no longer under the supervision or responsibility of the association.
• Students must have personal accident insurance.
• Any member who fails to pay dues and/or respect their commitments to the association may face exclusion.
