The members of Urban Team are happy to welcome you to the Urban Team association and wish you a warm welcome.

Urban Team offers Hip-Hop, House Dance, Break Dance, L.A Style, Popping/Boogaloo, Heels Dance, and Afrobeat - Dancehall classes for adults and children. Urban Team also participates in numerous artistic and cultural events in Switzerland and Europe.

The association employs several highly qualified instructors, and classes are held from September to June, except during school holidays and official public holidays. Classes are conducted according to strict schedules, which are strictly respected by the instructors.

1. Registration Fees

The registration fee is CHF 20.- per year.

2. Tuition Fees for the School Year

The fees indicated cover the period from September to June. Your registration will be effective from the start date you choose. Fees will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Teen/Adult Rates (1-hour classes)
1 class per week: CHF 900.-   
2 classes per week: CHF 1700.-  
3 classes per week: CHF 2400.-  
4 classes per week: CHF 2900.-  
5 classes per week: CHF 3200.-  
Unlimited classes: CHF 4500.-  

Children's Rates (1-hour classes)
Classes on Monday at 4:45 PM and Wednesday at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM ➡️ CHF 750.- for the school year

Heels Dance Rates (1h15 classes)
Classes on Monday at 7:00 PM and 8:15 PM ➡️ CHF 1000.- for the school year

Bonus: Urban Team members with an unlimited class subscription receive one free workshop of their choice during the season.

3. Available Payment Methods:

• Full payment: The total payment must be made at registration, in one installment.

• Payment in two installments: Payment is spread over 2 consecutive months from the registration date (e.g., September and November).
– The first installment, along with the registration fee, is due in the 1st month.
– The 2nd installment is due in the 2nd month after registration.

• Payment in three installments: Payment is spread over 3 consecutive months from the registration date, with one installment per month (e.g., September, October, November).

Payment reminders and conditions
Reminders are sent by email. In case of late payment, fees will apply:
1st reminder: a warning is sent by email before the due date, free of charge.
2nd reminder: CHF 20.- administrative fee added, 10 days after the due date.

The full annual tuition fees must be fully paid no later than 90 days after registration.

5. Conditions

By registering, the student requests membership in the Urban Team association.
Membership is effective with:
- an online registration form and charter;
- CHF 20.- registration fee

During online registration, the student (or legal guardian, if applicable) commits for the entire school year. Tuition is based on a 10-month annual package, from September to the end of June. This package accounts for official school holidays and public holidays when classes do not take place; these classes are therefore not rescheduled.

Annual fees vary according to the number of classes taken by the student. Hours of different members of the same household do not accumulate in the fee schedule. Payment can be made in several installments as indicated on the registration form. Special offers during the year are only valid for regular rates. In case of moving to another canton, the student or legal guardian may cancel the registration by providing a residence certificate, effective at the end of the current month, by mail or email. In case of an accident with a medical certificate presented within 30 days, classes will be rescheduled during the subscription season. Beyond 30 days, a deduction request (for the following year) can be submitted in writing by registered mail. No refund is possible. For any other case, termination requests must be submitted and justified by registered mail to the Committee, which is free to accept or reject them, or to propose a partial refund in the form of credit for other classes. Termination will incur a fee of CHF 100.-. If your resignation is accepted by management, the fees and the remaining subscription balance must be fully paid. Resignations announced to instructors are not considered. Registration fees cover administrative costs during the year (secretariat, supplies, stationery, stamps, phone, etc.). They are non-refundable in case of termination and must be fully paid before classes begin. For any changes to your subscription, a fee of CHF 50.- will apply from the second modification. Management reserves the right to close a class during the year if the student quota is insufficient. Students will have the option to choose another class.

6. Membership Rules

Membership in the association implies adherence to the following rules:

• The student must have proper sneakers used only for classes and indoors to keep them clean.
• Bringing dance heels is mandatory for Heels Dance classes! Heels will be checked to ensure they do not damage the floor. Heels must be compliant and in perfect condition. If the heel tip is visible, you cannot use them. You can purchase these specific heels at:

• Respect for other students, teachers, and supervising adults.
• Respect for premises (changing rooms, toilets, and studios must remain clean) – no food or drinks.
• For absences of minor students, parents must inform the office. Students may make up missed classes during the year for absences reported by the end of February. Absences are exceptionally tolerated, but no subscription deductions will be made.
• Parents, family, and the public are not allowed during classes.
• Mobile phones are not allowed during classes and rehearsals.
• No one is allowed to photograph or film any student or group during classes without permission from a committee member or instructor.
• By joining, the student and/or legal guardian authorizes the association to publish on its website or any public medium any group photo taken during school activities, even if the student is identifiable.
• Instructors are the sole judges of the student's skills and the class level they may participate in.
• Absent instructors will be replaced according to substitute availability.
• At the end of the year, the school produces a show in which all students participate. Costume costs are the responsibility of the student (CHF 30.- to CHF 50.-).
• For events organized in collaboration with the association, instructors are the sole judges of student participation.
• Outside class hours, students are no longer under the supervision or responsibility of the association.
• Students must have insurance for potential accidents.
• An exclusion procedure applies for anyone who has not paid fees and/or has not respected their commitments to the association.
